Once you have your Perfect Fit Skirt it's time to refine the detail for a more designer look.

By changing darts and side seams, shaping the hem and adding bindings you can improve your skirt even more.

What You Need To Bring : The Sewing Room is fully equipped with Janome Sewing Machines and Overlockers as well as all the tools you need to complete your project.  You are very welcome to bring your own machine and sewing box if you wish.

Materials Needed : your skirt pattern1m of 150cm wide medium weight fabric, 1m Lining (optional), .25m Woven Fusible Interfacing, 23cm concealed zip, matching thread

Bring along your own materials or purchase from Bloomsbury Square Fabrics which is next to the Sewing Room. If you are buying fabrics on the day please contact Victoria to make an appointment. Alternatively order fabric in advance,  have it sent to you or collect on the day of the class.

Create your perfect elegant skirt; choose to make it straight or A line, short or long. You will learn everything you need to know to make it fit perfectly, including inserting a concealed zip and facing. At the end of the workshop you will take home a perfect fitting skirt and the pattern to make many more.
