Orla Kiely Bag Day - 24th July 2017 Zoom

Orla Kiely Bag Day - 24th July 2017

This 1 day workshop focuses on designer Orla Kiely using her iconic fabric to create a choice of bags, The Town Bag, The Big Bag or the Tote Bag.

You will learn all about bag construction and how to install bag making haberdashery.  This workshop is for experienced sewists, however a 2 day workshop will be available for ladies who may need more time.  The cost includes a pattern and full kit to complete the bag.

The Tote bag is lined with two strong webbing straps and has an external pocket and two internal pockets.  You will learn how to insert a magnetic closure to secure your contents.

The Town Bag has two external pockets, an internal zipped pocket and a slip pocket sized to fit your needs.  The zipped bag closure secures your contents and two fabric straps co-ordinate with the bag base.

The Big Bag  is cavenous with slip pockets and a zip pocket to put your bits in. The sturdy vinyl straps and bag tab has a gorgeous twist lock. You can quilt the vinyl base before securing the bag feet if you want to.
